šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
This Clinical Informatics Specialist will play a crucial role in the successful integration of AdventHealth's clinical informatics solutions into the NHS. Working closely with our clinical and technical teams, you will ensure seamless data exchange, support clinical decision-making, and facilitate collaboration between healthcare providers. This position is a high-visibility opportunity to contribute to improving patient care and driving healthcare innovation in the UK. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Informatics, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, providing clinical expertise, and advocating for the needs of patients and care providers.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement clinical informatics solutions that meet NHS requirements and standards.
Collaborate with clinical teams to design and implement data analytics and reporting capabilities.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and security through rigorous testing and validation.
Provide clinical expertise and support to NHS staff on the adoption and use of clinical informatics systems.
Analyze and resolve technical issues related to clinical informatics systems.
Pilot and evaluate new clinical informatics solutions to identify opportunities for improvement.
Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical informatics trends, technologies, and standards.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical informatics or a related field.
Master's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of clinical informatics standards, such as FHIR and IHE.
Strong understanding of NHS data standards, policies, and procedures.
Ability to analyze complex technical and clinical issues and provide creative solutions.
Experience with data analytics tools and platforms, such as Tableau or Power BI.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Familiarity with the UK healthcare landscape and NHS policies.
Certification in Health Informatics or a related field (e.g., CPHIMS).
Experience with cloud-based clinical informatics systems.
Advanced knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance regulations.
