šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As an Airline Operations Risk Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in mitigating risks and improving operational efficiency across our European network. You will work closely with our Operations and Safety teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with flight operations, airport management, and passenger experience. You will develop and implement strategies to manage risk, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide expert advice to stakeholders on risk mitigation and management.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational risks across our European network.
Collaborate with Operations and Safety teams to identify and assess risks associated with flight operations, airport management, and passenger experience.
Provide expert advice to stakeholders on risk mitigation and management, including development of risk assessments and mitigation plans.
Work with cross-functional teams to implement risk management solutions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular risk assessments and reviews to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for mitigating risks.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including airport authorities, regulatory bodies, and industry partners.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, and apply this knowledge to inform risk management strategies.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management, operations, or a related field.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as risk management, business administration, or aviation management.
Proven experience in risk assessment, mitigation, and management in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Professional certification in risk management, such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
Experience working in the aviation industry, particularly in risk management or operations.
Fluency in multiple languages, particularly English and a European language.

£55,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
