🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As an Automotive Systems Architecture Specialist β€” Electrification, you will be a key member of the architecture team responsible for designing and developing the electrical powertrain architecture for our next-generation electric vehicles. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and develop system-level architectures that meet our sustainability and performance goals. You will report directly to the Powertrain Architecture Manager and will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the development of our future models.

πŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain system-level electrical powertrain architectures for our electric vehicles, including motor control and energy storage systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and develop architectures that meet our sustainability and performance goals.

Work closely with the Powertrain Architecture Manager to ensure alignment with overall company objectives.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members and contribute to the growth and development of the architecture team.

Collaborate with suppliers to select and integrate electrical components and systems.

Develop and maintain technical documentation and presentations to communicate architecture designs and trade studies to stakeholders.

βœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

8+ years of experience in automotive electrical powertrain engineering, with a focus on electrification.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Experience with automotive electrical systems modeling and simulation tools such as AVL Cruise or GT-Suite.

Strong understanding of electrical powertrain architectures, including motor control and energy storage systems.

Experience with system-level architectures and design, including component selection and integration.

Proficiency in CAD and technical documentation tools such as Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in automotive system-level architecture or electrical powertrain design.

Experience with advanced electrical powertrain architectures, including multi-motor and multi-speed designs.

Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ or Python.

Certification in electrical engineering or a related field.

Experienced in working in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.
