🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Architect and DevOps Engineer for Financial Services, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to support the growing needs of our customers. You will report directly to our Director of Engineering and be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about delivering exceptional results. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the security, scalability, and reliability of our cloud-based services, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure platforms

* Develop and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate testing, building, and deployment of applications

* Collaborate with development teams to migrate existing applications to cloud-native architectures

* Develop and enforce cloud security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

* Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to ensure proactive issue detection and resolution

* Participate in on-call rotations for cloud infrastructure support and incident management

* Collaborate with the DevOps team to develop and maintain containerization and orchestration strategies

* Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation

* Collaborate with the security team to develop and maintain cloud security strategies and procedures

* Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and related processes

* Participate in regular architecture reviews and design sessions to ensure cloud infrastructure aligns with business goals

* Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends, applying this knowledge to improve our cloud infrastructure

* Collaborate with the development team to develop and maintain cloud-based services, including APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture

* Develop and maintain cloud-based testing and automation frameworks to ensure quality and reliability of cloud services

* Collaborate with the IT operations team to develop and maintain cloud-based monitoring and logging tools

* Participate in regular training and upskilling to maintain expertise in cloud technologies and DevOps practices

* Collaborate with the cloud engineering team to develop and maintain cloud-based services, including data storage, messaging, and analytics

* Participate in regular code reviews and design sessions to ensure high-quality code and architecture

* Collaborate with the IT security team to develop and maintain cloud security policies and procedures

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, DevOps, and infrastructure engineering

* Strong experience with cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure

* Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes

* Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation

* Strong knowledge of cloud security, including Identity and Access Management (IAM) and cloud network security

* Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

* Strong knowledge of cloud-based monitoring, logging, and alerting tools

* Experience with cloud-based testing and automation frameworks

* Strong knowledge of cloud-based services, including data storage, messaging, and analytics

* Experience with cloud-based security tools and technologies

* Strong understanding of cloud-based architecture patterns and design principles

* Strong knowledge of cloud-based DevOps practices and tools

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

* Fluency in German and English

* Competitive base salary of €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience
