🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Architect at Capital One, you will play a key role in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions to drive business growth and innovation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cloud adoption, develop cloud strategy, and ensure seamless execution. You will report to the Cloud Engineering Lead and will have a significant impact on shaping the future of our cloud infrastructure.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and implement cloud-based solutions to drive business growth and innovation.

Develop cloud strategy and roadmaps to align with business objectives.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cloud adoption and develop cloud-ready applications.

Ensure seamless execution of cloud deployments and migrations.

Collaborate with Cloud Security and Compliance teams to ensure cloud security and regulatory compliance.

Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure documentation and knowledge base.

Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and trends and provide guidance to the team.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

8+ years of experience in cloud architecture and design.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

In-depth knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.

Experience with cloud migration, deployment, and management tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Azure Resource Manager.

Certification in AWS or Azure is a plus.

Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and architecture patterns.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Certification in cloud security or compliance.

Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins or Docker.

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

We offer a competitive salary range of €55,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
