šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Cloud-Based Content Delivery Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless delivery of our content to millions of users worldwide. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Cloud Infrastructure, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a high-performance content delivery network (CDN) that meets the demands of our growing user base. Your expertise will enable us to provide a faster, more secure, and more reliable streaming experience for our customers.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Netflix's cloud infrastructure, including AWS and other cloud providers. . Design and implement scalable and efficient CDN architectures to support our global content delivery needs. . Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Operations, and Product, to ensure aligned technical and business goals. . Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to content delivery, working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors. . Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to ensure the integrity of our CDN infrastructure. . Develop and maintain documentation for CDN configurations, architectures, and best practices. . Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technological advancements, applying relevant innovations to our CDN infrastructure.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
. 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure architecture, with a focus on CDN design and implementation. . Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. . In-depth knowledge of AWS and other cloud providers, including their respective CDN offerings. . Experience with containerization, orchestration, and serverless computing (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Lambda). . Familiarity with cloud security best practices, including encryption, access control, and threat response. . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex technical issues into actionable recommendations.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
. Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. . Experience with Netflix's cloud infrastructure and CDN architecture. . Certification in cloud computing, security, or a related field (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CompTIA Security+). . Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C++. . Ability to contribute to open-source projects and participate in industry conferences and meetups.

We offer a competitive salary range of £50,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
