π― ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Cloud-Based E-commerce Platform Manager at Sephora, you will be the technical lead responsible for the development and maintenance of our e-commerce platform, ensuring seamless integration with our cloud-based infrastructure. Reporting to the Senior IT Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation and optimize customer experiences. Your expertise will play a critical role in shaping the future of Sephora's e-commerce landscape.
π KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
. Develop and implement cloud-based e-commerce platform strategies, leveraging AWS or Azure, to improve scalability, security, and performance.
. Collaborate with the development team to design, implement, and maintain microservices architecture, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and modular code.
. Design and execute comprehensive testing plans to guarantee the stability and reliability of the e-commerce platform.
. Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of the platform.
. Conduct regular security audits and implement measures to prevent data breaches, ensuring PCI-DSS compliance.
. Analyze platform performance metrics to identify areas for improvement, implementing data-driven solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
. Collaborate with the business team to define and prioritize new feature development, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
. Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies, sharing knowledge with the team to drive innovation and best practices.
. Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring accurate and efficient knowledge transfer.
β REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
. 5+ years of experience in managing cloud-based e-commerce platforms, with a strong background in AWS or Azure
. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
. Extensive knowledge of e-commerce platforms, APIs, and microservices architecture
. Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes
. Strong understanding of security best practices, including PCI-DSS compliance
. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
β PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
. Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
. Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven programming
. Knowledge of cloud-native databases and data storage solutions
. Certification in AWS or Azure
. Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices
