🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Computing Specialist - Domestic Shipping Solutions, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to support the growth of our domestic shipping business. You will work closely with our IT team to develop and implement cloud-based solutions to improve our operational efficiency, scalability, and reliability. You will also collaborate with our business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet their requirements. This role reports to our Senior IT Manager and will have a direct impact on our ability to deliver exceptional customer service and drive business growth.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design and implement cloud-based solutions to support our domestic shipping business, including migration of applications and data to the cloud.

- Collaborate with our IT team to develop and implement cloud infrastructure, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.

- Work with our business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet their requirements.

- Develop and maintain cloud-based applications and services using programming languages such as Python, Java, and C#.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with cloud-based systems and applications.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud computing technologies and trends.

- Participate in the development of cloud computing standards and best practices within UPS.

- Collaborate with our IT security team to ensure the security and compliance of our cloud-based systems and data.

- Develop and maintain documentation of cloud-based systems and applications.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in cloud computing, including designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure.

- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, including AWS and Microsoft Azure.

- Experience with cloud-based programming languages, including Python, Java, and C#.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

- Experience with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) best practices.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Certification in cloud computing, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect and Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect.

- Experience with containerization and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including Jenkins and Ansible.

- Experience with data analytics and business intelligence, including Tableau and Power BI.

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

As a Cloud Computing Specialist - Domestic Shipping Solutions, you will be offered a competitive salary range of $62,500 - $80,000 per year, based on experience. You will also be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and a generous paid time off policy.
