šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
The Cloud Data Analyst for Strategic Business Insights will play a crucial role in helping our e-commerce clients make data-driven decisions to drive business growth. This individual will work closely with our client success team to understand business objectives and develop actionable insights using data analytics. The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Manager, Client Success, and will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets to provide strategic recommendations that improve client outcomes.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
. Develop and maintain complex data models to analyze client behavior, sales patterns, and market trends.
. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth.
. Analyze and interpret large data sets to identify insights and opportunities for improvement.
. Communicate data findings and recommendations to clients through various channels, including reports, dashboards, and presentations.
. Work with clients to develop and implement actionable plans to address business challenges and achieve strategic objectives.
. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve data analysis and delivery capabilities.
. Leverage data visualization tools to create engaging and easy-to-understand reports and dashboards.
. Develop and maintain expertise in data analytics tools and technologies, including cloud-based platforms.
. Partner with our development team to integrate data insights into our e-commerce solutions.
. Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and provide expert opinions on complex data-related issues.
. Develop and maintain data quality assurance processes to ensure accurate and reliable data.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
. 3+ years of experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role, preferably in e-commerce or a related industry.
. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
. Experience with cloud-based data analytics platforms, such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Microsoft Azure.
. Proficiency in data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
. Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance concepts.
. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
. Experience with SQL programming language and familiarity with data management systems.
. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and Scrum frameworks.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
. Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
. Experience with machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling.
. Certification in data science, analytics, or a related field.
. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, such as Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce.
. Experience with cloud-based data integration tools, such as AWS Glue or Azure Data Factory.
. Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and security best practices.
