šŸŽÆ ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Data Engineer for our Enterprise E-Commerce team, you will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying scalable and secure cloud-based data infrastructure for our clients. You will work closely with our clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand their business needs and develop solutions that meet their expectations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure data quality, integrity, and security, using your in-depth knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and tools. You will report to our Senior Manager, Data Engineering, and will work closely with our Data Scientist team to integrate data analytics and machine learning into our solutions.

šŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement scalable and secure cloud-based data architectures using cloud-native services like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines that meet the needs of our clients.

• Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet their expectations.

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security by implementing data governance policies and procedures.

• Troubleshoot and optimize existing data infrastructure to improve performance and scalability.

• Collaborate with our Data Scientist team to integrate data analytics and machine learning into our solutions.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials for our teams.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud-based data technologies and tools, and propose new solutions to our clients.

āœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of experience in cloud-based data engineering, with a focus on designing and implementing scalable and secure data architectures.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• In-depth knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and tools, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.

• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, and C++.

• Strong understanding of data governance policies and procedures.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience with data analytics and machine learning tools like Apache Hadoop, Spark, and TensorFlow.

• Certified Cloud Professional (CCP) or Certified Data Engineer (CDE) certification.

• Experience working with agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
