šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Cloud Data Engineer on our Health Insights team, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining the cloud-based data infrastructure that powers our business. This role exists to ensure that our data is accurate, timely, and secure, and that our team has the tools and resources they need to make data-driven decisions. You will report directly to the Senior Manager of Data Engineering and will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, data science, and IT. Your impact will be felt across the organization, as your work will help us to better understand our members' needs and preferences, and to develop innovative solutions that improve their health and well-being.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and implement cloud-based data pipelines and architectures using AWS, Azure, or GCP
Develop and maintain data warehousing and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using tools such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop data visualizations and reports that inform business decisions
Ensure that all data is accurate, complete, and secure, and that our data governance and compliance policies are met
Develop and maintain automated testing and validation processes to ensure data quality and integrity
Work with IT and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and implement new technologies
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and make recommendations for how they can be applied to our business
Develop and maintain documentation and knowledge base articles to support data engineers and other stakeholders
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on cloud-based data infrastructure and technologies
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Experience with data warehousing, Business Intelligence, and data visualization tools, including Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics
Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala
Certification in data engineering, cloud computing, or a related field is a plus
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases
Experience with cloud-based machine learning and artificial intelligence platforms
Certification in data science, cloud computing, or a related field
Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum or Jira

Salary range: $50,000 - $80,000 per year
