🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Data Engineer on our Supply Chain Optimization Platform team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing data pipelines to drive business insights and decision-making. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable data architectures, ensuring seamless integration with our cloud-based systems. Your work will have a direct impact on optimizing our supply chain operations, improving inventory management, and enhancing customer experience.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain data pipelines using Apache Beam and AWS Data Pipeline to integrate with various data sources, including inventory management systems and sales data.

Design and implement data warehousing solutions using Amazon Redshift and Amazon S3 to support business intelligence and analytics.

Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop data visualizations and insights using Tableau and Power BI.

Develop and maintain data quality and governance processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Work with the engineering team to design and implement automated testing and deployment scripts using Jenkins and AWS CloudFormation.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues, providing timely and effective solutions.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on cloud-based data platforms and scalable data architectures.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and SQL.

Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including ETL processes and data modeling.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

2+ years of experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau and Power BI.

Experience with DevOps tools, including Jenkins and AWS CloudFormation.

Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and Scrum framework.
