🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Data Governance Consultant for Enterprise Risk Management, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security, compliance, and integrity of our company's sensitive data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and controls that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. You will report directly to the Senior Manager of Enterprise Risk Management and will have a significant impact on our company's risk management and compliance posture.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and implement data governance policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the security and integrity of our company's sensitive data.

- Conduct regular risk assessments and compliance audits to identify areas of improvement and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

- Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement data governance solutions that support our company's business objectives.

- Provide training and support to business stakeholders on data governance policies and procedures.

- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry associations to stay up-to-date on the latest data governance initiatives and best practices.

- Analyze and report on data governance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform business decisions.

- Develop and maintain data governance programs to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

- Identify and mitigate data governance risks and vulnerabilities through regular risk assessments and compliance audits.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of experience in data governance, risk management, or a related field.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Strong understanding of data governance principles, policies, and procedures.

- Experience with data governance tools and technologies, such as data loss prevention (DLP) and data encryption.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data governance issues and develop effective solutions.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.

- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as GDPR and CCPA.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience with cloud-based data governance platforms, such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.

- Certification in data governance, such as Certified Data Governance Professional (CDGP).

- Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.

- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework.

Wells Fargo offers a highly competitive salary range of $50,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
