🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Infrastructure Operations Manager on our Gaming Platform team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure to support our growing user base. You will report directly to the Head of Platform Engineering and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with our services. Your goal will be to drive efficiency, scalability, and reliability in our cloud infrastructure.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain a scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure architecture to support our gaming platform.

Design and implement cloud security measures to protect against potential threats and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with our DevOps team to automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring of our cloud resources.

Optimize cloud costs by implementing efficient resource allocation and rightsizing strategies.

Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues to minimize downtime and ensure high service availability.

Partner with our Data Engineering team to design and implement cloud-based data processing pipelines.

Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our infrastructure.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, preferably with AWS or Azure.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Excellent understanding of cloud computing concepts, including scalability, reliability, and security.

Strong knowledge of cloud-native services, such as serverless computing, container orchestration, and load balancing.

Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with cloud security frameworks, such as AWS Well-Architected or Azure Security Fundamentals.

Certifications in cloud computing, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Certified Solutions Architect.

Familiarity with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).

Experience with data processing pipelines, including data ingestion, processing, and storage.

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

We offer a competitive salary range of €55,000 - €75,000 per year, depending on experience.
