šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Cloud Infrastructure Security Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud infrastructure, which supports critical business operations.
You will report to the Cloud Security Manager and will be working closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain secure cloud-based systems and applications.
This role is crucial in maintaining the trust and confidence of our customers, partners, and employees.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement security controls for cloud infrastructure, including Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, network security groups, and encryption at rest and in transit.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure security is integrated into the software development life cycle.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Develop and maintain cloud security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Partner with the Cloud Engineering team to design and implement secure cloud architectures.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, and provide guidance on best practices for cloud security.
- Develop and deliver training programs for cloud security for internal stakeholders.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for cloud security incidents.
- Collaborate with the Cloud Security Operations team to implement and enforce cloud security policies and procedures.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing security controls for cloud infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security frameworks, such as NIST and CIS.
- Experience with cloud security tools, such as AWS IAM, Azure Active Directory, and Google Cloud IAM.
- Strong understanding of cloud security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Experience with cloud security certifications, such as AWS Security and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
- Familiarity with cloud security automation tools, such as CloudSploit and Terraform.
- Strong understanding of DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
