🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Migration Specialist for Global Enterprise Clients, you will play a key role in helping large businesses migrate their workloads to the cloud. Reporting to the Technical Lead, you will work closely with customers to understand their migration needs and develop customized solutions to meet their requirements. Your work will have a significant impact on the success of Google's cloud business and will contribute to the company's mission of making the world's information more accessible and useful.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute cloud migration strategies for large enterprise clients

• Collaborate with customers to understand their migration needs and goals

• Design and implement customized cloud solutions to meet client requirements

• Work closely with Google's cloud engineering team to ensure seamless migration experiences

• Identify and mitigate potential migration risks and issues

• Develop and deliver training programs to educate customers on cloud migration best practices

• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends

• Collaborate with sales teams to identify new business opportunities and drive cloud sales growth

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in cloud migration, cloud engineering, or a related field

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

• In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms, including Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure

• Experience with migration tools, such as AWS Migration Hub and Google Cloud's Migration Manager

• Strong understanding of cloud security, data governance, and compliance

• Excellent communication and project management skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Certification in cloud engineering or a related field (e.g. Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Developer)

• Experience with cloud cost optimization and financial management

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g. Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)

• Strong understanding of cloud-based security and compliance frameworks (e.g. HIPAA, PCI-DSS)

• Experience with cloud-based data analytics and machine learning

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

We offer a competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £80,000 per year, depending on experience.
