🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Migration Specialist in our Utilities sector, you will play a crucial role in leading our cloud migration initiatives, driving the strategic adoption of cloud technologies, and ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure. You will report directly to the Director of Cloud Operations and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping our cloud vision and ensuring that we stay ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving industry.

πŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and execute cloud migration strategies for applications and infrastructure, aligning with business goals and objectives.

- Lead technical workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders on cloud migration best practices and technologies.

- Collaborate with development teams to assess, design, and implement cloud-native architectures, leveraging containers, serverless computing, and microservices.

- Ensure the secure and compliant migration of enterprise workloads to the cloud, meeting regulatory requirements and industry standards.

- Analyze cloud cost optimization opportunities and implement strategies to reduce costs while maintaining service quality.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical guides, and knowledge bases.

- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical debt discussions to ensure high-quality software delivery.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and trends, advising the team on the adoption of new technologies and methodologies.

- Drive the development of Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE) initiatives, promoting cloud adoption and best practices across the organization.

βœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum 8 years of experience in cloud migration, cloud architecture, or a related field.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), cloud migration tools (AWS Application Migration Service, Azure Migration Assessment Tool), and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Proven experience in leading technical teams, workshops, and training sessions.

- Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum).

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Certification in cloud computing (AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Certified: Azure Developer Associate).

- Experience with cloud cost optimization tools (Cloudability, ParkMyCloud).

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, GitLab).

- Fluent in German (written and spoken).
