🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Native Platform Engineer on our Streaming Media team, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining the scalable and secure infrastructure that powers our music and video streaming services. You will work closely with our engineering teams to ensure the smooth operation of our services, identify and resolve performance issues, and develop new features to improve the user experience. This role reports to the Engineering Manager of our Streaming Media team and requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including product managers, designers, and other engineers.

πŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain scalable and secure cloud-native architecture for our streaming services, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

Design and implement data pipelines to process and analyze user data, leveraging cloud-based data warehousing and processing technologies.

Collaborate with our engineering teams to identify and resolve performance issues, implementing fixes and optimizations as needed.

Work with product managers to design and develop new features that improve the user experience, leveraging cloud-based services and APIs.

Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of our services.

Collaborate with our security team to ensure the security and compliance of our services, adhering to the latest security best practices and regulations.

βœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

4+ years of experience in designing and building cloud-native architecture, with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go, with experience in cloud-based development frameworks and libraries.

Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing and processing technologies, such as AWS Redshift or Google BigQuery.

Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of experience in data engineering and analytics, with a focus on data pipelines and processing.

Familiarity with agile development methodologies and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Certification in cloud computing, such as AWS Certified Developer or Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Developer.
