šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Cloud Operations Manager for Enterprise SaaS Solutions at HubSpot, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based platform. You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and collaborating with cross-functional groups to design, deploy, and operate highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure. You will report directly to the Director of Cloud Operations and will have a significant impact on the growth and success of our business.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement cloud infrastructure strategies to support the growth of our SaaS platform, including the design and deployment of highly available and scalable architectures.
- Lead a team of engineers to ensure the reliability and security of our cloud-based platform, including the management of incident response, on-call rotations, and capacity planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups, including product, engineering, and operations, to ensure the successful deployment and operation of new features and services.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and best practices for cloud infrastructure operations.
- Conduct regular reviews and analysis of cloud costs, resource utilization, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and services, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our cloud operations.
- Develop and implement plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
- Collaborate with the security team to ensure the security and integrity of our cloud-based platform.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for cloud-related incidents and issues.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in cloud operations, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record of designing, deploying, and operating highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure management tools, such as AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Google Cloud Stackdriver.
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Experience leading and managing teams of engineers.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional groups.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud-based CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Experience with cloud security frameworks and compliance programs.
- Strong understanding of cloud cost optimization and resource management strategies.
- Experience with IT service management and incident response frameworks and tools.

- Salary range: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
