🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Operations Manager at Uber, you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our global mobility solutions. You'll work closely with our engineering teams to design, develop, and deploy cloud-based infrastructure that meets the needs of our rapidly growing user base. Your goal will be to deliver seamless experiences for our riders and drivers while minimizing downtime and optimizing costs.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain cloud-based infrastructure architectures to support global scalability and high availability.• Collaborate with engineering teams to design, implement, and monitor cloud-based services and tools.• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as GDPR and HIPAA.• Develop and execute plans to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.• Work closely with IT teams to identify and resolve technical issues.• Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base.• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and implement process improvements.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in cloud operations or a related field.• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.• Proficiency in cloud-based infrastructure technologies, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins, Ansible, or Docker.• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.• Strong communication and collaboration skills.• Experience with agile methodologies and version control systems.
