🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As Cloud Security Architect — Aerospace Defense Systems, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing secure cloud infrastructure for our defense customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain cloud security strategies, architectures, and guidelines. Reporting to the Director of Cloud Security, you will have a significant impact on the security posture of our cloud environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Your expertise in cloud security will help us stay ahead of emerging threats and trends in the industry.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain cloud security architectures, policies, and guidelines for Aerospace Defense Systems

Conduct security risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation

Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure, including identity and access management, data encryption, and network security

Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices and adherence to cloud security standards

Develop and maintain compliance reports and certifications for cloud security regulations, including NIST, HIPAA, and GDPR

Provide training and guidance to teams on cloud security best practices

Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and trends in cloud security and recommend updates to cloud security strategies and architectures

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

10+ years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on defense or government sectors

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field

Certifications in cloud security, such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty or Google Cloud Security Engineer

Proven experience with cloud security platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Experience with identity and access management, data encryption, and network security

Strong understanding of cloud security regulations, including NIST, HIPAA, and GDPR

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field

Experience with DevOps tools, such as Jenkins or GitLab

Certifications in cloud computing, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Developer
