🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Security Architect in Amazon's Financial Services division, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud infrastructure solutions for Amazon's financial applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, compliance, and risk management, to ensure that Amazon's financial systems meet the highest security standards. You will be reporting to the Senior Manager of Cloud Security and will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on Amazon's security posture.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure solutions for Amazon's financial applications using AWS services such as IAM, Cognito, and CloudWatch. • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that cloud infrastructure meets security and compliance requirements. • Develop and maintain AWS security best practices and standards. • Conduct security assessments and penetration testing of cloud infrastructure. • Collaborate with compliance and risk management teams to ensure that cloud infrastructure meets regulatory requirements. • Provide security guidance and support to cross-functional teams. • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS security features and services. • Collaborate with other Cloud Security Architects to ensure consistency and standardization of security practices.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years of experience in cloud security architecture, with a focus on AWS. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. • Experience with AWS security services such as IAM, Cognito, and CloudWatch. • Experience with cloud security frameworks and compliance standards such as PCI-DSS and HIPAA. • Knowledge of cloud security best practices and standards. • Strong understanding of security and compliance requirements for financial applications. • Experience with security assessments and penetration testing. • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. • CISSP or CISM certification. • Experience with cloud security automation tools such as AWS CloudFormation and AWS CloudWatch. • Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins and Docker.

Amazon offers a competitive salary range of £50,000 - £80,000 per year, depending on experience.
