As a Cloud Security Architect — Cyber Defense Solutions at Boeing, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing cloud-based security solutions to protect the company's sensitive data and systems. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Cloud Security, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain a comprehensive cloud security strategy, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Boeing's cloud-based assets. Your expertise will help identify and mitigate potential security threats, ensuring the company's cloud infrastructure remains secure and compliant with industry regulations.

šŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design and implement cloud-based security solutions, including cloud security gateways, encryption, and access controls.

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive cloud security strategy, aligned with Boeing's overall risk management framework.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess security risks, developing mitigation strategies to address potential threats.

- Configure and manage cloud security tools, including cloud-based firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.

- Develop and maintain cloud security policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and Boeing's internal policies.

- Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation actions.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud security trends, technologies, and best practices, ensuring Boeing's cloud security posture remains cutting-edge and effective.

- Develop and deliver training and awareness programs to educate Boeing employees on cloud security best practices and emerging threats.

- Participate in incident response and remediation activities, working closely with cross-functional teams to minimize the impact of security incidents.

- Collaborate with Boeing's cloud service providers to ensure cloud security controls are properly implemented and maintained.

āœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud security architecture, design, and implementation.

- Proven expertise in cloud security solutions, including cloud security gateways, encryption, and access controls.

- Experience with cloud security tools, including cloud-based firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and SIEM systems.

- Strong understanding of cloud security policies, procedures, and standards, including industry regulations and Boeing's internal policies.

- Experience with cloud security assessments and penetration testing, including vulnerability scanning and remediation.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to stay up-to-date with emerging cloud security trends, technologies, and best practices.

- Experience with cloud security technologies, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

- Experience with cloud security certifications, including CompTIA Cloud+ or AWS Certified Cloud Security Specialty.

- Strong experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Experience with cloud-based security information and event management (SIEM) systems.

- Familiarity with cloud security platforms, including cloud-based identity and access management (IAM) systems.
