🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Security Architect — Cyber Resilience Specialist, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing secure cloud infrastructure for our clients. You will work closely with our technical teams to identify and mitigate potential security threats, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of client data. You will report directly to our Head of Cyber Security and will have a significant impact on shaping our cloud security strategy.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of cloud security threats and vulnerabilities, staying up-to-date with the latest threats and technologies.

• Design and implement secure cloud architectures for our clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

• Collaborate with our technical teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks, conducting regular security audits and penetration testing.

• Develop and maintain relationships with key cloud service providers, negotiating security requirements and ensuring compliance.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends and technologies, recommending improvements to our cloud security strategy.

• Develop and maintain security documentation, including architecture diagrams, risk assessments, and compliance reports.

• Participate in incident response and crisis management, working closely with our technical teams to resolve security incidents.

• Perform security assessments and risk analysis for new cloud-based projects, ensuring that security is integrated into the project lifecycle.

• Develop and deliver security training and awareness programs for our technical teams.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of experience in cloud security architecture, with a focus on cyber resilience.

• Strong understanding of cloud security threats, vulnerabilities, and regulations, including GDPR, NIST, and AWS security best practices.

• Experience with cloud security frameworks, including AWS Well-Architected Framework and Azure Security Framework.

• Strong technical skills, including cloud computing, networking, and operating systems.

• Experience with security tools, including SIEM, DLP, and vulnerability scanners.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

• CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification.

• Experience with containerisation and serverless computing.

• Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices.

• Experience with cloud security automation, including cloud security orchestration and incident response.

• Strong communication and project management skills.

• Competitive salary range: £55,000 - £80,000 per annum.
