🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Security Architect at Capital One, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud infrastructure for our data analytics platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain cloud-based security solutions, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data. You will report to the Director of Cloud Security and be a key contributor to our cloud security strategy.

πŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

. Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure for data analytics platforms using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

. Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and product managers to develop and deploy secure data analytics solutions.

. Develop and maintain cloud security policies, procedures, and standards.

. Identify and mitigate cloud security risks, including data breaches, unauthorized access, and compliance issues.

. Develop and maintain secure cloud architecture documents, including diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation plans.

. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure cloud security solutions meet regulatory requirements.

. Provide training and guidance to development teams on cloud security best practices.

. Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing of cloud infrastructure.

. Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud security threats and technologies.

. Develop and maintain Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools and processes.

. Perform vulnerability assessments and remediation.

. Develop and maintain Cloud Security Gateway (CSG) configuration and policies.

. Develop and maintain Cloud Security orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) playbooks and runbooks.

. Develop and maintain Cloud Service Governance (CSG) policies and standards.

. Develop and maintain Cloud Service provider (CSP) security assessment and compliance artifacts.

. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and SOC 2.

. Develop and maintain cloud security metrics and monitoring tools.

βœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

. 8+ years of experience in cloud security architecture, with a focus on data analytics platforms.

. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

. Strong knowledge of cloud security frameworks, including AWS Well-Architected Framework and Azure Security Benchmark.

. Experience with cloud security tools, including AWS IAM, Azure Active Directory, and Google Cloud Identity and Access Management.

. Experience with cloud security platforms, including AWS Config, Azure Security Center, and Google Cloud Security Command Center.

. Strong understanding of data privacy regulations, including GDPR and HIPAA.

. Experience with DevOps tools, including Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.

. Experience with cloud-based identity and access management systems.

. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

. Experience with cloud-native applications and microservices.

. Experience with containerization and serverless computing.

. Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools.

. Experience with cloud-based incident response and threat hunting.

. Strong knowledge of cloud security monitoring and incident response tools.

. Experience with cloud security training and awareness programs.

. Experience with cloud security certifications, including AWS Certified Security - Specialty and Azure Security, Compliance, and Identity Specialty.

We offer a competitive salary range of 50,000 - 80,000 EUR per year, depending on experience.
