🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Security Architect - Data Centre Migration Lead, you'll play a critical role in leading our data centre migration to the cloud. You'll work closely with our infrastructure and security teams to design and implement a secure cloud infrastructure that meets our stringent security requirements. You'll also be responsible for leading a team of engineers and collaborating with our partners to ensure a smooth migration process. You'll report to our Director of Cloud Security and will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's security posture.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead the design and implementation of a secure cloud infrastructure for our data centre migration

- Collaborate with our infrastructure and security teams to ensure that our cloud infrastructure meets our security requirements

- Lead a team of engineers to migrate our applications and services to the cloud

- Work with our partners to ensure a smooth migration process

- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect our data and applications in the cloud

- Collaborate with our security team to identify and mitigate potential security risks

- Develop and maintain our cloud security architecture documentation

- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to ensure our cloud infrastructure meets our security requirements

- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends and technologies and implement best practices in our cloud infrastructure

- Collaborate with our engineering teams to ensure that our applications and services are secure and compliant with our security policies and procedures

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on architecture and design

- Proven experience in leading cloud migrations and implementing secure cloud infrastructure

- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and industry standards

- Experience with cloud security tools and technologies, such as AWS IAM and Azure Security Center

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Cloud security certifications, such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty or Azure Security Engineer Associate

- Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools and practices

- Knowledge of industry-specific security regulations and compliance requirements

- Experience with cloud migration tools and technologies, such as AWS CloudFormation and Azure Resource Manager

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

Recent wins include the successful migration of our content delivery network to the cloud and the implementation of a cloud-based security information and event management (SIEM) system.
