🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Security Architect at Amazon, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud infrastructure for our e-commerce platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. You will report to the Senior Director of Cloud Security, and will be responsible for developing and implementing cloud security strategies that align with our company's overall security posture. Your work will have a direct impact on the security and integrity of our customer data and transactions.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure for e-commerce platforms using AWS services such as IAM, Cognito, and CloudWatch.

* Identify and mitigate security risks associated with cloud infrastructure, including compliance with PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cloud security strategies and best practices.

* Develop and maintain documentation of cloud security policies, procedures, and standards.

* Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.

* Work with cloud security teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

* Develop and implement secure DevOps practices to ensure secure deployment of applications and services.

* Collaborate with engineers to identify and address security vulnerabilities in cloud infrastructure.

* Develop and implement training programs to educate engineers on cloud security best practices.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* 8+ years of experience in cloud security architecture and implementation.

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

* Demonstrated expertise in cloud security design and implementation using AWS services.

* Experience with security risk assessment and mitigation.

* Strong understanding of industry regulations and standards, including PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR.

* Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins, Git, and Docker.

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.

* Certification in cloud security, such as AWS Cloud Security Specialist or CISSP.

* Experience with cloud security tools, such as CloudFormation and CloudWatch.

* Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and standards.

* Experience with secure DevOps practices and tools.
