šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
The Cloud Security Architect will play a key role in developing and implementing cloud security strategies across our financial services platforms. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the security, compliance, and risk management of our cloud-based infrastructure. Reporting to the Head of Cyber Security, the Cloud Security Architect will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure cloud-based solutions. Key responsibilities include collaborating with developers to integrate cloud security controls, conducting risk assessments, and developing security policies and procedures.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
⢠Develop and implement cloud security strategies across our financial services platforms
⢠Collaborate with developers to integrate cloud security controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
⢠Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential threats to our cloud-based infrastructure
⢠Develop and maintain security policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data
⢠Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure cloud-based solutions
⢠Collaborate with vendors to ensure the security and compliance of third-party cloud services
⢠Develop and maintain knowledge of emerging cloud security technologies and trends
⢠Conduct security audits and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities in our cloud-based infrastructure
⢠Develop and implement incident response plans to mitigate the impact of security breaches
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
⢠8+ years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on financial services
⢠Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
⢠CISSP, CISM, or similar certification in information security
⢠Strong knowledge of cloud security technologies, including AWS and Azure
⢠Experience with security frameworks, such as NIST and ISO 27001
⢠Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
⢠Experience with cloud security tools, such as cloud security gateways and cloud-based threat intelligence platforms
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
⢠Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
⢠Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
⢠Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
⢠Experience with cloud-based identity and access management (IAM) solutions
