🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Security Architect for German Financial Institutions, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing secure cloud infrastructure solutions for our clients. You will report directly to our Head of Cloud Security and work closely with our teams to ensure the security and compliance of our clients' data. This role will have a significant impact on the growth and success of our business.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure solutions for German financial institutions, including architecture, migration, and security strategy.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and applications.

Develop and maintain security standards, policies, and procedures for cloud infrastructure.

Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and improve overall security posture.

Implement and manage cloud security controls, including IAM, encryption, and access management.

Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, and provide guidance on best practices for cloud security.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

8+ years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on financial institutions or similar regulated industries.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

Proven experience with cloud security platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Strong knowledge of security standards, regulations, and compliance requirements for financial institutions (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR).

Certifications in cloud security, such as CCSP or CCSK.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with cloud migration and deployment, including DevOps and CI/CD.

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).

Certifications in cloud engineering, such as CCAV or CCE.

Familiarity with agile development methodologies and Scrum framework.

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

We offer a competitive salary range of €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience.

We are a cross-functional team with diverse backgrounds and expertise, working closely with our clients to understand their unique security needs and develop tailored solutions.
