🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

The Cloud Security Architect for Global Content Delivery will play a critical role in designing and implementing a secure, scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure to support our global content delivery network. Reporting to the Director of Cloud Security, this individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security and compliance of our cloud-based services. By developing and maintaining a deep understanding of our cloud security posture, this role will have a significant impact on our ability to deliver high-quality content to our subscribers worldwide.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and implement a secure cloud infrastructure to support global content delivery, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain a cloud security strategy that aligns with business goals and objectives

Develop and implement security controls and processes to protect against data breaches and other security threats

Ensure the secure configuration and management of cloud-based services, including AWS and Azure

Design and implement a cloud security monitoring and incident response plan to detect and respond to security incidents

Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud security threats and technologies, and advise the team on best practices and new developments

Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our cloud security posture, including security vulnerabilities and risk mitigation strategies

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in cloud security architecture, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and security

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance or related field

Certifications in cloud security, such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty or Azure Security Engineer Associate

Proven experience with cloud security platforms, including AWS IAM and Azure Active Directory

In-depth knowledge of security protocols, including SSL/TLS and encryption standards

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience with cloud-based DevOps tools, such as Terraform and CloudFormation

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration platforms, such as Docker and Kubernetes

Certifications in CISSP or CISM

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

£55,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience
