🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Security Architect at Netflix, you will play a key role in ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust security framework that protects our data and applications in the cloud. This is a highly visible role that requires a deep understanding of cloud security, architecture, and compliance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, security, and compliance, to ensure that our cloud infrastructure meets the highest security standards. As a Cloud Security Architect, you will have the opportunity to design and implement cutting-edge security solutions and contribute to the development of Netflix's cloud security strategy.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and implement a comprehensive cloud security strategy that aligns with Netflix's overall security goals

Develop and maintain a robust security framework that protects Netflix's data and applications in the cloud

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that cloud infrastructure meets the highest security standards

Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends and technologies and make recommendations for implementation

Work with the security team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Develop and maintain documentation of cloud security architectures and solutions

Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that cloud security is integrated into all aspects of the development lifecycle

Develop and implement security training programs for engineering teams

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related field

Minimum 8 years of experience in cloud security, architecture, or a related field

Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud security solutions

Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks, such as AWS Well-Architected Framework and Cloud Security Alliance

Expertise in cloud security tools and technologies, such as AWS IAM and CloudTrail

Certifications in cloud security, such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related field

Experience with cloud-native security solutions, such as AWS Lambda and Amazon API Gateway

Experience with security automation and orchestration tools, such as AWS Config and AWS CloudFormation

Certifications in cloud security, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional and Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
