šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Cloud Security Architect at Microsoft, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing secure cloud-based solutions for our customers in the Nigerian public sector. You will report directly to the Head of Cloud Security and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the security and compliance of our cloud infrastructure. Your impact will be felt across the organization as you help to protect sensitive data and maintain the trust of our customers.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and implement secure cloud-based architectures for public sector customers in Nigeria.
Develop and maintain security policies and procedures for cloud-based systems.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure the security and compliance of cloud-based applications.
Conduct security risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating identified risks.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials and industry partners.
Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to inform our cloud security strategies.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on public sector customers.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
Certifications in cloud security, such as AWS Security or Azure Security Engineer.
Proven experience with cloud security frameworks and standards, such as NIST or ISO 27001.
Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, including AWS and Azure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
Certifications in cloud architecture, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
Experience with cloud security tools, such as cloud access security brokers (CASBs) or cloud security gateways.
