🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Security Architect — Regulatory Compliance Specialist at Capital One Germany, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and compliance of our cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud security solutions that meet the highest standards of regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. You will also work closely with our compliance team to ensure that our cloud infrastructure meets all relevant regulatory requirements. You will report to our Head of Cloud Security and will have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that will shape the future of our cloud infrastructure.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Design and implement cloud security solutions that meet the highest standards of regulatory compliance

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them

* Work closely with our compliance team to ensure that our cloud infrastructure meets all relevant regulatory requirements

* Develop and maintain cloud security policies and procedures

* Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments

* Develop and implement training programs for cloud security best practices

* Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends and technologies

* Collaborate with our cloud engineering team to ensure that our cloud infrastructure is secure and compliant

* Develop and maintain relationships with cloud security vendors and partners

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* 8+ years of experience in cloud security or a related field

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field

* Strong knowledge of cloud security frameworks and regulations, such as GDPR and HIPAA

* Experience with cloud security platforms, such as AWS CloudWatch and Azure Security Center

* Strong experience with cloud security tools, such as firewall rules and intrusion detection systems

* Strong experience with cloud security best practices, such as least privilege and separation of duties

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Strong communication and collaboration skills

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field

* Certifications in cloud security, such as AWS Certified Security Professional or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate

* Experience with cloud security automation tools, such as Terraform and Ansible

* Experience with cloud security orchestration tools, such as Chef and Puppet

* Experience with cloud security monitoring tools, such as ELK and Splunk
