🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Security Compliance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security and compliance of our cloud infrastructure. Reporting directly to the Director of IT, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining cloud security controls, monitoring compliance, and providing expert advice on cloud security best practices. Your work will have a direct impact on the success and growth of our business, and you will be part of a collaborative team that values innovation and employee growth.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement cloud security strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Design and maintain cloud security architectures, including infrastructure as code (IaC) and DevSecOps.

Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud security and compliance are integrated into all business processes.

Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on cloud security best practices.

Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud security trends and technologies, and recommend innovative solutions to the team.

Work with external vendors and partners to ensure cloud security and compliance is met.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in cloud security, with a proven track record of implementing and maintaining cloud security controls.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

CISSP, CCSK, or CISM certification, or equivalent experience.

Proficiency in cloud security platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework or Cloud Security Alliance.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

CISSP-ISSMP or CISM-ISSMP certification.

Experience with DevSecOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

£55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
