🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Security Compliance Specialist on our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of Twitter's cloud infrastructure, including AWS and Google Cloud. You will work closely with our engineering, security, and compliance teams to identify and mitigate security risks, develop and implement compliant security controls, and maintain our cloud security posture. You will report to the Senior Manager of Cloud Security and be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that values innovation, transparency, and accountability.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain cloud security compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards such as SOC 2, GDPR, and CCPA.

• Conduct cloud security risk assessments and vulnerability scanning to identify potential security risks and develop mitigation strategies.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement secure cloud architectures and infrastructure.

• Develop and maintain cloud security controls, including access controls, network security, and data encryption.

• Work with compliance teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

• Develop and maintain documentation of cloud security compliance processes and procedures.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement cloud security strategies and roadmaps.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud security threats and technologies and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Collaborate with other teams to ensure cloud security awareness and training.

• Participate in incident response and crisis management activities as needed.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in cloud security compliance, with a focus on AWS and Google Cloud.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

• Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.

• Strong understanding of cloud security regulations and standards, including SOC 2, GDPR, and CCPA.

• Experience with cloud security risk assessments and vulnerability scanning.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security issues and develop creative solutions.

• Experience with cloud security controls, including access controls, network security, and data encryption.

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret security data.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

• Experience with cloud security frameworks, including NIST and ISO 27001.

• Experience with cloud-based security tools, such as cloud security gateways and cloud-based intrusion detection systems.

• Strong knowledge of cloud security threats and vulnerabilities.
