🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

Our Cloud Security Consultant will play a critical role in helping clients ensure the security and compliance of their cloud-based infrastructure. As a member of our Advanced Compliance Solutions team, you will work closely with our clients to design and implement secure cloud architectures, assess and mitigate security risks, and develop comprehensive compliance strategies. You will report directly to our Senior Manager of Cloud Security and will have the opportunity to collaborate with a talented team of consultants and technologists. This role will have a significant impact on our clients' ability to navigate the complex world of cloud security and stay ahead of emerging threats.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

. Design and implement secure cloud architecture solutions for clients, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. Assess and mitigate security risks associated with cloud-based infrastructure, including threat modeling, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing. Develop comprehensive compliance strategies for clients, including implementation of cloud security standards such as NIST and PCI-DSS. Collaborate with clients to identify and prioritize security and compliance requirements, and develop tailored solutions to meet these requirements. Conduct regular security and compliance assessments for clients, and provide recommendations for improvement. Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our clients' cloud security postures. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including client C-level executives and technical teams. Participate in business development activities, including proposal development and client pitches.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

. 8+ years of experience in cloud security, compliance, or a related field. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related field. CISSP or equivalent security certification. Proficiency in cloud security frameworks, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. Experience with cloud-based security tools, including vulnerability scanners and threat intelligence platforms. Excellent communication and project management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with compliance frameworks, including NIST, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

. Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related field. CEH or CISSP-ISSAP certifications. Experience with cloud-based automation tools, including AWS CloudFormation and Azure Resource Manager. Knowledge of emerging threats and technologies, including containerization and serverless computing. Experience with cloud-based DevOps tools, including Jenkins and GitLab.

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

We offer a highly competitive salary range of $50,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
