🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Security Consultant on our Cyber Protection team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level guidance and support to our enterprise clients in the Mexico region to ensure the security and compliance of their cloud-based infrastructure. You will work closely with our sales teams, technical teams, and clients to understand their security needs and develop tailored solutions to address those needs. You will also work with our engineering teams to develop and implement new security features and tools that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conduct security assessments and risk analyses for cloud-based infrastructure to identify and mitigate potential security threats.

- Develop and implement security strategies and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

- Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement secure cloud-based architecture and infrastructure.

- Work with clients to understand their security needs and develop tailored solutions to address those needs.

- Provide training and support to clients on cloud security best practices and tools.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and trends, and develop and implement new security features and tools to address those threats.

- Collaborate with sales teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement new security features and tools.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on cloud-based infrastructure and compliance.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.

- Strong technical skills in cloud security, including cloud-based architecture, security best practices, and regulatory compliance.

- Experience with cloud security tools and technologies, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

- Strong understanding of cloud security standards and regulations, including HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients, partners, and internal teams.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions.

- Experience with security frameworks and methodologies, including NIST and ISO 27001.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.

- CISSP or CISM certification.

- Experience with cloud security tools and technologies, including cloud-based firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability management tools.

- Experience with cloud security frameworks and methodologies, including AWS Well-Architected Framework and Azure Security Framework.

- Strong understanding of emerging security threats and trends, including AI-powered attacks and cloud-based supply chain risks.
