🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Security Governance Lead, you will play a critical role in shaping our cloud security strategy and ensuring that our products and services are secure and compliant with industry standards. You will report to our Head of Security and will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks. Your work will have a significant impact on the success of our business and will help us to build trust with our customers.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

. Develop and implement cloud security strategies and policies that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements

. Conduct regular security risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security is integrated into product development and delivery

. Develop and maintain security documentation and training materials for employees

. Provide security guidance and support to teams and stakeholders

. Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and trends and provide recommendations for mitigation

. Participate in security incident response and remediation efforts

. Develop and manage security budgets and resources

. Develop and implement security metrics and monitoring to measure security effectiveness

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

. 8+ years of experience in cloud security governance and compliance

. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field

. CISSP or CISM certification preferred

. Experience with cloud security frameworks and standards (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)

. Strong understanding of cloud security controls and best practices

. Excellent communication and leadership skills

. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

. Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field

. Experience with cloud security tools and technologies (e.g. AWS IAM, Azure AD)

. Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems

. Experience with threat intelligence and incident response

. CISSP-ISSAP or CISM-IA certification

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

We offer a competitive salary range of £55,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including private health insurance, a pension scheme, 25 days' annual leave, and a £1,000 annual learning and development budget. As a remote worker, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK and will be provided with a home office allowance.
