šŸŽÆ ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Security Operations Center (CSOC) Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud-based infrastructure and applications. You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security events, investigating security incidents, and implementing security controls to prevent future incidents. You will report directly to the CSOC Manager and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with our overall security strategy. Your efforts will have a direct impact on the security and reliability of our cloud services, and you will be part of a team that is dedicated to making JPMorgan Chase a leader in cloud security.

šŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement security monitoring and incident response plans to detect and respond to security threats in a timely and effective manner. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize security risks and develop mitigation strategies. Conduct security vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our cloud infrastructure and applications. Analyze security event data to identify trends and patterns, and provide insights to inform our security strategy. Develop and maintain security-related documentation, including policies, procedures, and training materials. Participate in incident response efforts, including coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors as needed. Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, and provide recommendations for improving our security posture. Develop and deliver training and awareness programs to educate employees on security best practices and policies.

āœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

8+ years of experience in a cloud security operations center or similar role. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field. Strong understanding of cloud security architectures and technologies, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems, such as Splunk or ELK. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security event data and identify trends and patterns. Experience with incident response and threat hunting. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

CISSP or CISM certification. Experience with cloud security frameworks and standards, such as NIST and CSA. Familiarity with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Experience with cloud-based security tools, such as Cloud Security Gateway or CloudWatch. Strong knowledge of cloud-based data protection and governance regulations, such as GDPR and HIPAA.
