🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As the Cloud Security Operations Center (CSOC) Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of cloud security professionals who are responsible for monitoring and responding to security incidents in our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with our cloud engineering team to identify and prioritize security risks, develop and implement security controls, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will report to the Director of Cloud Security and will have a direct impact on the security and compliance posture of our cloud infrastructure.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead a team of cloud security professionals in monitoring and responding to security incidents in our cloud infrastructure

- Work closely with cloud engineering team to identify and prioritize security risks and develop security controls

- Collaborate with security architects to design and implement secure cloud infrastructure

- Develop and maintain security policies and procedures for cloud infrastructure

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as SOC 2 and HIPAA

- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement

- Develop and implement security awareness training programs for cloud security team

- Provide input on cloud security strategy and roadmaps

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of experience in cloud security operations or a related field

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field

- Proven experience in leading a team of cloud security professionals

- Strong understanding of cloud security controls and compliance requirements

- Experience with cloud security tools such as AWS CloudWatch and CloudTrail

- Strong communication and leadership skills

- Experience with security awareness training programs

- CISSP or CISM certification preferred

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field

- Experience with cloud security architecture and design

- Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)

- Familiarity with containers and serverless computing

- Experience with threat hunting and detection

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

As a Cloud Security Operations Center (CSOC) Manager at Capital One, you will receive a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan with a 4% match. You will also receive 15 days of paid vacation per year, as well as 10 paid holidays.
