🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Security Specialist, you'll play a key role in protecting our cloud infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities. You'll be responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of our cloud environments, working closely with development teams, and collaborating with other security experts to identify and mitigate potential risks. You'll report directly to the Manager of Cloud Security and will have a significant impact on the overall security posture of our organization.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and implement cloud security architectures to protect our infrastructure from unauthorized access and data breaches.

Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development life cycle.

Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and remediate potential threats.

Implement and manage cloud security tools, such as cloud access security brokers (CASBs) and cloud workload protection platforms (CWPPs).

Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and trends in cloud security, and develop strategies to address them.

Develop and deliver security awareness training to employees and contractors.

Work with the incident response team to investigate and respond to security incidents.

Develop and maintain relationships with cloud security vendors and partners to stay informed about the latest technologies and solutions.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on protecting cloud infrastructure and data.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

CISSP or CISM certification, or willingness to obtain it within 12 months.

Experience with cloud security platforms, such as AWS Security Hub or Azure Security Center.

Knowledge of cloud security standards, such as HIPAA and PCI-DSS.

Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.

Experience with containerization and serverless computing.

REQUIRED LANGUAGE SKILLS

English and German (business fluent).

CISSP-ISSAP or CISM-CCM certification.

Experience with DevOps and Agile development methodologies.

Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
