🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Security Specialist for Allstate's CyberInsurance division, you will play a critical role in protecting our customers' sensitive data in the cloud. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to design and implement secure cloud infrastructure, conduct risk assessments, and identify vulnerabilities. You will report directly to our Manager of Cloud Security and will be responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of our cloud-based systems.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Implement and maintain cloud security controls, such as Identity and Access Management (IAM), encryption, and access controls to protect customer data.

Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats.

Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure, including network architecture, storage, and compute.

Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices and secure software development life cycle (SDLC).

Develop and maintain cloud security policies, procedures, and standards.

Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud security threats and technologies to ensure Allstate's cloud infrastructure remains secure.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

8+ years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on cloud infrastructure security.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.

Strong knowledge of cloud security controls, such as IAM, encryption, and access controls.

Experience with cloud security tools, such as AWS IAM, Google Cloud IAM, and Azure Active Directory.

Certifications in cloud security, such as AWS Certified Security — Specialty or CompTIA Cloud.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.

Experience with DevSecOps and secure software development life cycle (SDLC).

Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.

Certifications in cloud computing, such as AWS Certified Developer — Associate or Microsoft Certified Azure Developer Associate.
