🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and deploying cloud-based solutions for our Mexico region. This role exists to drive digital transformation, improve efficiency, and enhance customer experience. Reporting to the Regional IT Director, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize cloud-related opportunities, develop technical roadmaps, and implement cloud-native solutions. Your expertise will help us unlock new business capabilities and create a more agile, secure, and scalable technology infrastructure.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement cloud-based architectures for our Mexico region, aligning with global standards and best practices.

• Collaborate with regional stakeholders to identify and prioritize cloud-related projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Develop and maintain technical roadmaps for cloud migration, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

• Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-native solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

• Provide technical guidance and support to IT teams, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deploy and manage cloud-based solutions.

• Conduct regular security and compliance assessments to ensure cloud-based solutions meet regulatory requirements.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to enhance our cloud capabilities.

• Develop and maintain relationships with cloud service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring optimal pricing.

• Lead cloud-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or a related field.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Experience with cloud migration, cloud-native applications, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and data governance.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, monitoring, logging).

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience with cloud-based DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).

• Certification in cloud computing (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Certified Solutions Architect).

• Familiarity with cloud-based security tools (AWS IAM, Azure Active Directory).

• 1+ year of experience leading cloud-related projects.

We have recently launched a successful cloud-based project, enhancing our customer experience and improving operational efficiency.
