🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Solutions Architect — Aviation Industry Expertise, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for American Airlines' IT infrastructure, with a focus on leveraging the latest cloud technologies to drive business innovation and growth. Reporting to the Senior Director of IT Infrastructure, you will be part of a high-performing team that is responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and scalability of American Airlines' IT systems. 📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

. Design and deploy cloud-based solutions for American Airlines' IT infrastructure, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop cloud-based solutions that meet those needs. . Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure, including virtualization, storage, and security. . Implement cloud-based analytics and machine learning solutions to drive business insights and improve operational efficiency. . Design and implement cloud-based disaster recovery and business continuity solutions. . Develop and maintain cloud security and governance policies and procedures. . Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth migration of existing applications to the cloud. . Monitor and optimize cloud spend to achieve cost savings while ensuring that business requirements are met. . Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base to support cloud-related activities. . Collaborate with vendors and partners to ensure compliance with cloud-related regulations and standards. . Develop and implement cloud-based solutions for data analytics and business intelligence. . Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that cloud-based solutions meet industry standards for security, compliance, and performance. . Develop and maintain cloud-based solutions for IT service management and automation. . Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for cloud-based innovation and growth.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

. 8+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for large-scale enterprises. . Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. . Strong technical skills in cloud computing, including AWS, Azure, and GCP. . Experience with cloud-based technologies, including containerization, serverless computing, and DevOps. . Strong understanding of cloud security and governance principles and practices. . Experience with cloud-based analytics and machine learning solutions, including data integration, processing, and visualization. . Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. . Experience with IT service management and automation tools, including ServiceNow and Ansible. . Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. . Experience with cloud-based project management tools, including Jira and Asana. . Strong understanding of industry standards for security, compliance, and performance.
