🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Solutions Architect in our Banking and Finance team, you'll play a critical role in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet the complex needs of our clients. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop architecture plans, ensure technical alignment, and drive business outcomes. Reporting directly to the Director of Cloud Solutions, you'll have a significant impact on the success of our clients and the growth of our business.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Cloud Solutions Architect, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for banking and finance clients, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.

Developing and maintaining architecture plans, technical roadmaps, and migration strategies.

Collaborating with cloud vendors, such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices.

Working with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of cloud-based solutions.

Providing technical guidance and support to clients, ensuring successful adoption and utilization of cloud solutions.

Staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and changing regulatory requirements.

Contributing to the development of thought leadership pieces, whitepapers, and case studies.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

At least 7 years of experience in cloud architecture, implementation, or engineering, with a focus on banking and finance.

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Expert-level knowledge of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

In-depth understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and tools.

Strong experience with containerization, orchestration, and serverless computing.

Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.

Certifications in cloud architecture, security, or compliance are a plus.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

While not required, the following qualifications would make you stand out as a top candidate:

Experience with cloud-based banking and finance solutions, such as core banking systems or payment processing.

Familiarity with emerging technologies, such as blockchain, AI, or machine learning.

Certifications in cloud security, compliance, or data governance.

Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

As a Cloud Solutions Architect at IBM, you'll enjoy a competitive salary range of €55,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience. You'll also receive:
