šŸŽÆ ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Solutions Architect — E-commerce Platform Development, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and deploying scalable and secure e-commerce platforms on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to architect cloud-based solutions that meet our customers' needs, while ensuring alignment with our technical and business goals. Reporting to the Director of Cloud Solutions, you will have a significant impact on the development of our e-commerce platforms, contributing to the growth and success of our business.

šŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design and develop scalable, secure, and highly available e-commerce platforms on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, RDS, and S3.

- Collaborate with development teams to architect cloud-based solutions that meet customer requirements and company goals.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical guides, and design patterns.

- Ensure alignment with AWS best practices and compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code.

- Identify and mitigate technical risks, working closely with the DevOps team to implement mitigation strategies.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, applying knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.

- Collaborate with the cloud engineering team to design and implement cloud-based DevOps pipelines and CI/CD processes.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.

āœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on e-commerce platforms and AWS.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Strong understanding of cloud computing principles, including scalability, availability, and security.

- Proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, RDS, S3, and VPC.

- Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.

- Experience with cloud-based DevOps tools, including Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.

- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and payment gateways.
