🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering scalable cloud infrastructure solutions for our growing e-commerce clients. You will work closely with our sales teams to understand client needs and then work with our development teams to design and implement cloud solutions that meet those needs. This role exists to ensure that our clients have access to cloud infrastructure that can handle their growing e-commerce business and that our development teams have the tools and expertise to deliver high-quality solutions.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and deliver scalable cloud infrastructure solutions for e-commerce clients using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Work closely with sales teams to understand client needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.

• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement cloud solutions.

• Develop and maintain relationships with cloud providers and stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies.

• Develop and deliver training to development teams on cloud best practices.

• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams on cloud infrastructure.

• Conduct regular technical audits to ensure cloud infrastructure is secure and compliant.

• Design and implement cloud security controls to protect against threats.

• Develop and maintain cloud security policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with security teams to identify and mitigate cloud security risks.

• Develop and deliver cloud security training to development teams.

• Conduct regular cloud security audits to ensure compliance.

• Develop and maintain a culture of cloud security awareness within the development teams.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years of experience in designing and delivering cloud infrastructure solutions.

• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Experience working with e-commerce clients and understanding their needs.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Experience with cloud security and compliance.

• Experience with cloud migration and deployment.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Certification in cloud security (e.g., AWS Security Certification or Google Cloud Security Certification).

• Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).

• Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).

• Experience with agile development methodologies.

• Strong knowledge of cloud security frameworks (e.g., NIST, PCI-DSS).

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

• £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (depending on experience).
