🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Solutions Architect for Whataburger EMEA, you will play a critical role in shaping our cloud strategy and infrastructure across the region. You will work closely with the leadership team to identify business needs and develop cloud solutions that drive innovation and growth. This is a remote position, and you will work with a talented team of cloud professionals to design, implement, and manage cloud-based systems and applications.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

. Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure and applications to support Whataburger's business growth and innovation.

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop cloud solutions that meet those needs.

. Develop and maintain cloud strategies and roadmaps to ensure alignment with business objectives.

. Provide technical expertise and guidance to cloud teams and stakeholders.

. Identify and mitigate cloud security risks and implement best practices to ensure data protection.

. Develop and manage cloud budgets and cost optimization strategies.

. Collaborate with vendors and partners to negotiate cloud services and support.

. Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and trends and recommend new solutions to support business needs.

. Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base to ensure knowledge transfer and onboarding of new team members.

. Participate in on-call rotations to provide support and resolve cloud-related incidents.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

. 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering, with a focus on infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS).

. Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

. Proficiency in cloud management platforms such as AWS or Azure and experience with cloud-native services.

. Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.

. Strong understanding of networking, storage, and security concepts in cloud environments.

. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

. Experience with cloud billing and cost optimization tools.

. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

. Experience with Whataburger's current cloud infrastructure and applications.

. Certification in cloud architecture, security, or related fields.

. Experience with agile methodologies and version control systems.

. Familiarity with cloud data analytics and data warehousing.

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

We offer a competitive salary range of €55,000 - €75,000 per year, depending on experience.
