🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Solutions Architect Lead, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in the design, development, and implementation of cloud-based solutions to support Delta's business needs. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements, design and implement cloud-based solutions, and ensure the successful migration of existing applications to the cloud. You will be responsible for mentoring and guiding junior team members and providing technical guidance and support to the broader team.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and implement cloud-based solutions to support Delta's business needs, including the migration of existing applications to the cloud; Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and technical guides; Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, to identify business requirements and provide technical solutions; Mentor and guide junior team members to ensure the successful execution of cloud-based projects; Provide technical guidance and support to the broader team, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues; Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, and make recommendations for Delta's cloud strategy; Participate in the design and development of cloud-based security and compliance solutions to meet Delta's regulatory requirements; Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure the smooth operation of cloud-based applications and services.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

8+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on designing and implementing cloud-based solutions; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Strong experience with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud; Proficiency in cloud migration strategies, including lift-and-shift, refactor, and re-architecture; Strong experience with containerization and orchestration tools, including Docker and Kubernetes; Experience with cloud security and compliance, including AWS IAM and Azure AD; Strong experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban; Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with Serverless computing, including AWS Lambda and Azure Functions; Experience with cloud-based data warehousing and business intelligence, including AWS Redshift and Azure Synapse Analytics; Experience with cloud-based identity and access management, including AWS IAM and Azure AD; Strong experience with cloud-based networking and security, including AWS VPC and Azure NSG.

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

Delta Air Lines offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
