šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Cloud Solutions Architect at USPS UK Remote, you will play a key role in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions to support our growing digital transformation. You will work closely with our IT team to assess current systems, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop recommendations for cloud-based infrastructure. You will also collaborate with our business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements. You will report directly to the Head of Cloud Services and will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization's ability to deliver excellent customer service.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain cloud-based infrastructure to support USPS UK's digital transformation.
Assess and recommend cloud-based solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our IT systems.
Design and implement secure, scalable, and reliable cloud-based solutions to meet the needs of our business stakeholders.
Collaborate with our IT team to ensure seamless integration of cloud-based systems with our existing infrastructure.
Develop and implement cloud security best practices to protect our data and systems.
Conduct regular reviews and assessments of our cloud-based systems to identify areas for improvement.
Develop and maintain documentation of cloud-based systems, including architecture, configuration, and security.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience with cloud-based infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Certifications in cloud computing, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Certified Solutions Architect.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with cloud-based data storage and analytics solutions, such as AWS S3 and Amazon Redshift.
Certifications in cloud security, such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Azure Certified Cloud Security Engineer.
Experience with agile methodologies and version control systems, such as Git.
Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

We offer a competitive salary range of £50,000 to £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
